Holdrege Memorial Homes held it's annual Veterans + One breakfast on Monday, Nov. 11. Fifteen Veterans and their special guests were served steak and eggs in the Chapel/Community Room. The breakfast was followed by a brief program and presentation of a memorial quilt to Duane Davison by the Prairie Quilt Guild. Service by the HMH Veterans included World War II, the Korean War, and Vietnam. Amy Rademaker, HMH Activities Director stated, "We are forever grateful for your service." Each Veteran was also given a commemorative gift. In the first photo, Marilyn Ellner and Kathy Doiel present a quilt to Duane Davison, who served in the Army during the Korean War. In the second photo, Gene, Mike, and Mary Lou Post attended the special breakfast Gene also served in the Army during the Korean War.
