Holdrege Memorial Homes (HMH) recognizes the importance of providing a comprehensive benefits program to our full-time benefit eligible employees. Therefore, we have developed a comprehensive benefits package that delivers quality and value while satisfying the diverse needs of our workforce.
HMH will deposit $100 per month into your Health Savings Account at the beginning of every month. You must be enrolled in the High Deductible Health Plan to receive this tax-free contribution.
Medical coverage is offered through Aetna. A Health Savings Account (HSA) eligible, high deductible plan is available to regular full-time employees the first of the month following 30 days of employment.
Those waiving medical coverage are eligible to receive $125 (taxable) per month if you provide proof of other Group Coverage or Healthcare Exchange Coverage.
Dental coverage is provided free of charge and is administered by RCI. This benefit is available to regular full-time employees the first of the month following 30 days of employment.
Vision coverage is provided free of charge and is offered through Vision Service Plan (VSP). This benefit is available to regular full-time employees the first of the month following 30 days of employment.
HMH provides free of charge $25,000 basic term life and AD&D insurance through The Hartford. This benefit is available to regular full-time employees the first of the month following 30 days of employment.
Based on your length of employment, full-time (40 hrs/wk) employees receive the following number of hours per year and part-time employees receive a pro-rated amount based on hours worked:
- 0-1 years : 100 hours
- 1-3 years : 140 hours
- 3-5 years : 180 hours
- 5-10 years : 220 hours
- 10+ years : 260 hours
As part of Holdrege Memorial Homes’ commitment to employee wellness, a $15/month subsidy is available to all staff, full and part-time, for either a YMCA or Curves membership.
HMH currently matches 100% of the employee’s plan contribution of up to 3% of the employee’s annual pay.
Discretionary Benefit Program
Employees who have reached one year of employment with HMH and who work more than (30) hours per week will be eligible for a discretionary benefit as follows:
- 1-3 years : $35 per pay period
- 3-5 years : $40 per pay period
- 5-10 years : $45 per pay period
- 10+ years : $50 per pay period
Use of discretionary benefits are restricted to the following :
- 401(k) Funding
- Health Savings Account
- Charitable giving
