Why Give
Giving to the Holdrege Memorial Homes Foundation makes a lasting impact on the lives of our residents—just as recent gifts from the estates of Gladys M. Harper and Merna J. Larson have done. Both women called HMH home, and their generous donations are a testament to the care and compassion they experienced here. Their gifts have been honored on our Tree of Life and have already enhanced resident life, including funding a new NU-Step for our Assisted Living fitness room. Contributions to the Foundation help us continue providing exceptional care, meaningful activities, and a warm, family-like environment for those who once cared for us.
History
The Holdrege Memorial Homes Foundation was founded in 1989 and is dedicated to inspire, receive and administer benevolent gifts to ensure the financial support for the continued growth of Holdrege Memorial Homes and its Christian environment. Continued support of the Holdrege Memorial Homes Foundation helps ensure the future of HMH as we strive to provide the best care possible for the most fragile citizens of Holdrege and the surrounding area, while remembering the value of treating people as the unique individuals that they are.
Giving and Supporting the Mission
Tree of Life/Memorial Recognition
HMH honors gifts of $1,000 or more in the Tree of Life display in the north lobby.
A gold leaf is added for gifts or memorials of at least $1,000. A small rock is added for gifts or memorials above $10,000.
Legacy of Care
Express your gratitude to a specific employee with a tribute gift to the HMH Foundation.
HMH staff are not permitted to receive gifts directly from you, so the Legacy of Care award present a unique opportunity to recognize special staff.
General or Give2Grow Giving
Giving to the HMH Foundation general fund is an ongoing source of revenue for all areas of the organization.
Contributions may be designated for general donations or to a specific project, such as the current give2Grow project.
