Life at HMH is Never Dull
At Holdrege Memorial Homes, every day brings something to look forward to! Our monthly activities are designed to keep residents active, engaged, and smiling. From live musical performances and creative crafts to baking sessions that fill the halls with delicious aromas, there’s always something fun in the works. Residents enjoy card games, bingo, and movie nights with popcorn, along with special events like Wine & Dine Night for Assisted Living, Husker watch parties, and Happy Hour. We also welcome the joy of community with visits from local preschoolers and students, historical programs, Bible studies, and even our own bell choir. Whether it’s fingernail painting, community outings, or simply sharing a laugh with friends, life at HMH is all about connection, creativity, and making every moment count.
Dining & Nutrition
At HMH, we believe mealtime should be both nourishing and enjoyable. Our four inviting dining rooms serve residents three delicious, well-balanced meals each day. For lunch and dinner, residents can choose between two protein entrées or order from our short-order menu if they prefer something different.
Spiritual Care at HMH
At Holdrege Memorial Homes, faith is at the heart of our community. Guided by our full-time chaplain, Kathy Doiel, we offer weekly worship services, Bible studies, hymn sings, and personal spiritual support. Residents can attend Sunday chapel, receive communion from area churches, and participate in monthly Catholic Mass. We also welcome guest ministers, provide in-room visits upon request, and broadcast local church services on our in-house TV channel—helping residents stay connected to their faith and home church.
